 Marco Mendoza and mates ripping through some James Brown. These guys were SO good, it was scary. Marco has gorgeous fretless tone. The band moved so effortlessly from JB to salsa to Jaco (closing with "Teen Town" that featured Marco singing "Get the funk outta mah face" during that E-E-G#-G#-B-B-C# bridge part, the drummer doubling the bass line while playing the main drum part -- and Marco sang along with the keyboard parts, too).
